HIGH ROLLING

Regina Zernay is a bass player & singer. She is currently playing live with her solo band, “Regina Zernay & The High Rollers.” Her past work as a bass player includes touring for a year and a half with Cee Lo Green and three and a half years with New Orleans band Cowboy Mouth. She also fronted her own band with her husband, Detroit Diesel Power (DDP).

Regina has released her first solo record, "High Rolling." The record was produced by Grammy winner Patrick Burkholder (Wraths, Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dog, Powerman 5000), with mix input from the legendary Michael Beinhorn (Soundgarden, Hole, RHCP, Weezer, Korn). Recording was completed almost entirely remotely, with studio musicians from all over the world. Bass production was done by Grammy-award winner Ted Russell Kamp (Shooter Jennings, Jessi Colter, Wilson Phillips). Drum production was done by Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr. Big, Beautiful Creatures). Guest musicians include Darren Roberts (DDP's co-lead singer/rhythm guitarist), Vance DeGeneres (The Daily Show, House of Schock), Matt Jones (Jimmie's Chicken Shack), Reuben Cantu (Honey Island Swamp Band, Amos Lee), and up and coming musicians Maya Coghill (San Diego, CA), Peyton Angelo (Arizona), and Luca Neroni (Los Angeles, CA).
